Access to Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre

The show venue – Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC)( is located in Wan Chai. It can be easily reached by the following means of transportation:


MTR ( is the main public transportation in the urban area. Apart from Airport Express and Light Rail, the current system comprises 9 lines – Disneyland Resort, East Rail, Island, Kwun Tong, Ma On Shan, Tsuen Kwan O, Tsuen Wan, Tung Chung and West Rail. You can reach the HKCEC by getting off at the Wan Chai MTR Station (Exit A1).

There are two ferry services between Kowloon and Wan Chai.


By Airport Express

The fastest way to get to downtown is via the Airport Express Line (AEL). To reach the Wan Chai MTR Station, you may choose the fastest route –

Airport – Hong Kong Station – Central Station  – Wan Chai Station

The HKCEC Airport Express Passengers can now enjoy an added privilege – a free airport express shuttle bus from the HKCEC to the Hong Kong Station. The bus stop is located at the HKCEC’s Harbour Road Entrance.

By Taxi

The starting rate for Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Taxi is HK$24. Each additional 200 metres will cost HK$1.7. Tunnel or bridge tolls (HK$ 3 – HK$ 35) will be added to the amount on the meter. When using any of the three cross-harbour tunnels, you will expect to pay an extra of HK$10 – HK$15. There may also be additional charges for the luggage carried in the boot.
